Audika is currently seeking an Associate Sales Director who is responsible for driving the commercial success of the Audika retail network across Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Northern Territory. The Associate Sales Director has full P&
L responsibility for approximately 180 clinics and is accountable for delivering the annual budget. This will be achieved through a sales Management team that has a client centric approach and provides Clinicians and Clinic Coordinators with clear direction, coaching and support.

Working in accordance with our Demant Values, the "

(ATRT)operating model, and the clinic H.E.A.R. journey, the purpose of this role is to maximise the commercial impact in Audika. This is accomplished by embedding the clinic operating model and developing new processes, tools and learning programs that help drive efficiencies and empower our network to capitalise on their given market opportunities. The role will work closely with Commercial and Operational Excellence Team to ensure a high level of effectiveness in our clinics.

Responsibilities

Direct Reports

Leadership &
Engagement:
Provide leadership, coaching, and development to employees, including recruitment, performance reviews, succession planning, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with Demant values.

Clear Expectations &
Accountability:
Establish a framework for empowering direct reports to execute business initiatives, achieve KPIs, and promote continuous learning.

Onboarding &
Continuous Development:
Partner with training to drive hiring, onboarding, and upskilling of ROMs, CCOs, and Clinicians to ensure they have the necessary skills for client care, service excellence, and commercial success.

Drive Business

Budget &
Sales Execution:
Contribute to and manage the annual sales budget, lead sales strategy implementation, and analyse performance to identify opportunities and challenges.

Market Insights &
Share Growth:
Understand the local market, client trends, and opportunities to maximize business success, including increasing local market share through tailored marketing, GP engagement, and business development activities.

Operational

Workforce Planning:
Maintain staffing levels in line with client demand for productivity and performance.

Management Schedule:
Implement a structured schedule across direct reports focused on ATRT, commercial, and clinical excellence.

Client Experience:
Ensure superior client experiences, clinic presentation, uniform standards, and compliance with business processes.

HR Management:
Address staff concerns promptly and effectively in line with company policies, seeking HR or managerial support when necessary.

Reporting &
Compliance:
Manage day-to-day operations using reports, assess results, and ensure compliance with standards, regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.

Qualifications and competencies:

Tertiary qualification or undergraduate degree:
Preferably in science, business/commerce, or economics.

Master of Business Admin, desirable

Leadership experience:
A minimum of 15 years of documented success in a retail or audiological leadership role.

Outstanding leadership skills:
Proven experience in leadership with direct involvement in motivating and developing a team to achieve key sales objectives.

Exceptional customer service delivery:
Experience in fostering a culture focused on delivering exceptional customer service.

Geographically dispersed team leadership:
Experience in leading teams dispersed across multiple locations to collaborate effectively.

Strategic and operational responsibility:
A proven track record of following an existing operating model, with significant experience in sales planning, execution, and management within a defined territory.

Financial acumen:
Knowledge of business and financial concepts, including key retail performance metrics, sufficient for extracting and interpreting information to inform business decisions, as well as audiological knowledge.

Strong IT capability:
Excellent command of IT systems and tools, including the full Microsoft Office 365 suite of solutions.

Effective communication:
Professional verbal and written communication skills, with confident and influential communication and presentation abilities.

Commercially driven:
Commercially minded with experience initiating and supporting company initiatives to drive commercial outcomes. Demonstrated ability to achieve key sales targets and objectives.

High degree of flexibility:
Demonstrated flexibility and successful integration in high-change environments and with new business applications.

Audiology or Audiometry qualifications:
Highly desirable.
