The company:


A leading global real estate/property services provider is seeking an experienced and talented individual to join their team as an Associate Director of the retail and commercial property management department.


Reporting to the State Director of Asset Management, the Associate Director will oversee the provision of property management and leasing consultancy services to clients for their respective sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the State Director to provide effective and inspiring leadership ensuring that the Property Management team manages the property portfolio effectively.
  • Mentor and support direct reports within their portfolio.
  • Provide advice, support and assistance to Property Management staff to maintain the portfolio to the highest standards.
  • Directly manage assets within your portfolio to best practice standards
  • Manage key client relationships, ensuring their property needs are understood and met, and maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction.
  • Work with the State Director to identify risks across your portfolio and put in place action plans to mitigate those risks
  • Identify management risks within your portfolio and develop strategies to minimize any financial P&
    L risk
  • Work alongside the Leadership team in driving a highperformance culture across the office and managing staff performance issues in a timely manner
  • Assist the State Director with the implementation of relevant training programs and business development opportunities.
  • Work with the Capital Transaction, Sales and Leasing teams across all asset sectors to build relationships and undertake crossreferrals
  • Contribute to the growth of the business through identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our property portfolio.

Skills and Experience:

  • You will demonstrate market knowledge and proficiency in retail property management including shopping centre management and maintain high ethical standards at all times
  • Keep abreast of industry and professional developments to maintain personal expertise.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal requirements associated with the role including, but not limited to, Corporations Law, Financial &
    Accounting Standards, The Trade Practices Act, Real Estate Licensing Legislation, Fair Trade Act, Contract and Employment Law.
  • Have previous experience maintaining strong relationships and clear communication with colleagues;
    provide support and encouragement to team members;
    share knowledge and expertise;
    treat others with respect.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide comprehensive property services, drawing upon your expertise and industry knowledge.


Qualifications:
Relevant property qualifications such as:

  • Degree in Property preferred but not essential
  • Current property management registration essential
