KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR POSITION:


The Associate Director of Clinical Trial Diversity will support and manage Sponsor's strategy for Diversity &
Inclusion in clinical trials.

- Drive community relationships, awareness, health literacy, program/study design, clinical trial patient experience, and clinical trial participant expected outcomes that will ultimately transform the success of participation and retention of diverse populations.

- Collaborate across key development and functional areas is critical (e.G., Real World Evidence, Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Science, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs Patient Engagement, Design and Innovation, Public Affairs and Government Affairs).

Core Responsibilities:


- Manage the strategy for incorporating the Diversity &
Inclusion corporate objectives into clinical programs and trial designs.

- Partner with the Design Studio to develop AI/ML techniques, development driven market research, decentralized approaches, and other capabilities to increase access to, and engagement with, clinical trials for representative populations.

- Support the global Diversity &
Inclusion team within Technology and Innovation to utilize a combination of matrixed resources to creatively build teams to deliver project goals.

- Support the development and delivery of the Patient Experience strategy and Patient Voice framework with the Head of Patient Experience.

- Serve as the Clinical Trial Diversity &
Inclusion partner to key functional areas including but not limited to Clinical Development, Clinical Data Science, Clinical Operations, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Global Value &
Access, Medical Affairs, Public Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Government Affairs and Development Operations.

- Inform corporate and regulatory strategy policies as it relates to Diversity &
Inclusion in clinical trials.

- Support the internal and external communication and collaborative SOP development, project team governance documents (clinical development plans, request plans, Clinical Study Reports, INDs, NDAs, and other clinical/regulatory/safety documents, as well as abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts).

- Support Sponsor's Public Relations and external corporate giving, or Employee Resource Group (ERG) initiatives (e.G. community service)
Qualifications

What we're looking for

- Strong expertise in prior roles where the focus has been on patient &
participant co-designedexperiences.


- Experience and an understanding of the drug development process and clinical operations.

- Prior experience leading cross-organization initiatives and designing/executing large global programs and studies.

- Ability to effectively collaborate across a diverse, global, highly matrixed team environment.

- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, including agile project management of multiple time-sensitive projects.

- Must have the ability to communicate complex topics in simple terms to a variety of internal and external stakeholders that is succinctly tied to the overall strategy for Diversity &
Inclusion in Clinical Trials.

- Proven capabilities in change management and business transformation initiatives.

- Strong command of solving complex problems and use of highly developed independent judgement relating to domestic and global regulations, guidelines, and timelines.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record for effectively communicating scientific, medical, and organizational concepts.

- Extensive interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor staff and organize, motivate, and lead multifunctional teams to deliver results and persuade.

Role is remote and may require domestic or international travel as required (valid travel documents must be obtainable).

- Ability to travel as necessary (approximately 25%).

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $91,200 to $210,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
