The role:


Currently, we are on a mission to find an exceptional Assistant Store Manager to help lead our dynamic team at Shoes &
Sox Warringah Mall.

As a leader in the business, you will inspire and help mentor a diverse team of footwear enthusiasts to reach set KPIs and sales targets - celebrating the wins and encouraging the team to be proud of the contribution they have to the wider business strategy!

This role works a Sunday-Thursday roster, and we encourage those seeking part-time (four-five days/week) to apply.



Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Store Manager, you will motivate a passionate team and assist with managing the daily store operations

  • Build and drive a customer-led culture through leading by example and delivering excellent service standards

  • Closely monitor store sales performance - acknowledge outstanding results and identify any areas of improvement

  • Ensure store presentation is immaculate through visual merchandising

  • Take a proactive approach in loss prevention management i.E. stock shrinkage

  • Demonstrate a duty of care by ensuring that the work environment is safe, healthy and fit for work (adhere to state and national OH&
    S legislation)

The skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Previous Assistant Store Management or Retail Sales Supervisor experience in training, coaching and mentoring team members

  • Experience in Children's education also welcome
  • You are warm, welcoming and enjoy working with children (patience is essential)

  • You are passionate about creating a memorable service experience for our customers

  • A proven record of driving and exceeding KPI's

  • You have experience with stock control, visual merchandising and committed to continuous improvement and learning

  • You have excellent time management skills, and are confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels

  • Unrestricted Australian working rights and four/five full days availability.
