Assistant Restaurant Manager

El Camino, located at 500 Kingsway in Miranda, NSW, is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing a team of staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Restaurant Manager in effectively managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Providing leadership and guidance to the restaurant team, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Ensuring the highest standards of customer service are maintained at all times, and addressing any customer concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitoring and maintaining the quality of food and beverage service, and working with the kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence in all menu offerings.
- Assisting in the recruitment, training, and development of staff, and conducting performance evaluations to ensure all team members are meeting expectations.
- Handling cash and financial transactions, and overseeing the accuracy of daily cash reconciliation and reporting.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on customer service and staff management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving. A passion for food and beverage, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality dining experience, are also key attributes we are looking for.
