About the Role

As the Assistant General Manager, the purpose of your role is to effectively support the leadership function of the care home to ensure excellence in all aspects of service delivery, the highest standard of person-centred care of residents, the utmost quality of resident experience, compliance with the Aged Care Standards and Clinical Governance Framework and ongoing development and engagement of the care home team.

In parallel with supporting the across care home functions, the role will lead the hospitality teams to deliver a positive customer experience to residents and their families.

Duties

  • Lead the hospitality, housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a positive impact on the resident and their experience.
  • Work with all employees to provide coaching, training and ongoing support to ensure service and provision of care is in line with expected care and service standards.
  • Support Care Home operations regarding resident &
    customer interactions and ensure requests meet their satisfaction.
  • Assist and support the monitoring and compliance requirements for the Care home operations
  • Support the Care Home Leadership Team in ensuring Care Home audits and reporting is completed in line with requirements.

Skills &
Experience

  • Previous experience as a supervisor or manager within a service environment i.E Aged Care, Retail or hotels.
  • Qualifications in health management, business, Aged care or a related discipline would be advantageous.
  • Strong Customer service experience inclusive of positive customer outcomes and management of feedback and complaints. - Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in effectively leading, managing and engaging large teams. - Experience in managing resources and budgets.
