Assistant Director - Marketing Full-Time Permanent

Details:
The City Renewal Authority is seeking an Assistant Director - Marketing to lead creative and effective marketing solutions to attract visitation to the City Renewal Precinct, generate awareness, inspire action, and facilitate perception change amongst target audiences.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on making Canberra a better place to live. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and trust as you develop and lead marketing campaigns that deliver social and economic benefit to our precinct.

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing marketing campaigns.
• Ability to effectively manage creative, digital, and media buying/planning agencies.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven high-level project management skills and the ability to coordinate time and budget to meet objectives.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
Relevant tertiary education qualifications such as in Communications, Marketing, Media and/or Public Relations is highly desirable.

Notes:
An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
