Assistant Director, Executive Leadership and Talent
Full-time Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director to join us here in the Workforce Strategy, Leadership and Capability Branch. Under the guidance of the Senior Director, you will contribute to the successful management and coordination of a range of capability development initiatives.

These include operation of the whole of government Learning Management System as well as a wide range of leadership programs and SES induction, networking events, program communications, nominations, evaluation, and reporting.

All our work is designed to support capability development and contemporary leadership aligned with the ACTPS core values and signature behaviours. You will use your excellent customer service skills to work effectively with teams and Senior Executives of the ACTPS across all Directorates.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
To flourish in the role, you will need a professional interest in learning and leadership development and be able to operate with a high degree of independence to manage projects from start to finish. You may have technical proficiency in managing a Learning Management System (ours is SAP Success Factors) and/or design, implementation, and evaluation of capability development programs. You will be exceptional at establishing and maintaining effective and diverse business partnerships with stakeholders at all levels. Your expert communication and influencing skills will be heavily relied on, as well as your ability to adapt to changing circumstances while managing multiple priorities and demands.

Notes:
There are several temporary and permanent vacancies at this level, and we'd like you to consider coming to join us. Temporary roles may be extended to meet business requirements. A merit pool will be established and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
