Troocoo have partnered with a globally renown technology company that operates in over 35 countries, to find a skilled Advisor – Cyber Security Risk &
Advisory to join their Perth team.Reporting to the APAC West Cyber Risk Lead, this role will work in a collaborative, supportive environment within the organisations global Cyber Security team. The Advisor – Cyber Security Risk &
Advisory will provide pragmatic cyber security guidance and cyber security risk assessments to contribute to the improvement of the organisations cyber security. The role provides an opportunity for development for the right candidate to grow their cyber security career whilst working across a broad range of state-of-the-art technologies.The Advisor – Cyber Security Risk &
Advisory will be responsible for:
Providing effective and pragmatic cyber security guidance for key technology projects, to enable the organisation to innovate securely.
Conducting cyber security risk assessments of new and existing technologies to identify risks, and appropriate controls that balance security and operability.
Communicating risk assessment findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, including Information Systems &
T) business partners and project stakeholders.
Supporting cyber security aspects of business acquisitions and divestments.
Conducting supplier, service provider and RFP contract reviews.
Supporting the organisations' adoption of cyber security group standards and guidance.
The successful candidate will have:
Practical experience in a cyber security-based role, preferably in a large organisation, or a similar asset intensive industry.
Experience in identifying and understanding cyber security risk, preferably in both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) contexts.
Familiarity with industry leading cyber security frameworks for identifying and managing cyber security risk (eg NIST, ISO, NERC CIP, ISA/IEC etc.).
Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to build credibility and collaboration.
General or OT specific Cyber Security certifications are desirable e.G., GICSP, GRID, CISSP, CISM, CEH etc.
Experience identifying cyber security risk in the adoption of emerging technologies such as IoT, cloud and mobility is desirable.
Experience applying cyber security throughout safety lifecycles, understanding relative independence and integrity of multiple layers of protection in instrumented systems, including Safety Instrumented System (SIS) is desirable.
