An exciting opportunity currently exists for you to join the Tropical Public Health Services team as an Administration Officer. You will plan, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate quality administrative, human resources and financial services support to the different teams of Tropical Public Health Services.This is your opportunity to join the dedicated team of professionals at Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and be part of a world-class, dynamic, and growing health service that embraces technology, excellence in health care, teaching, research and empowering our people to be the best in serving our community.

The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers a large geographic area with a diverse and growing population. The Health Service provides a wide range of primary care, acute and specialist services.

Tropical Public Health Services (TPHS) focuses on the health and wellbeing of populations, rather than of individuals. TPHS aims to minimise the morbidity and mortality from communicable and vaccine-preventable diseases, and environmental health hazards thereby protecting the health of the population and preventing disease and illness.
