YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

The Account Director is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of key brands. They are responsible for brand leadership, day to day campaign delivery, financial management, client satisfaction, and team development. They create an environment where their team is set up for success and empowered to create world class work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day key client contact
  • Leads the delivery of the work including flawless project management to time every time.
  • Creates compelling briefs to champion world class ideas.
  • Collaborates seamlessly with the client, strategy, creatives, digital, cx, production, and external providers in the development of these ideas.
  • Ensures the agency delivers first class presentations at every approval point.
  • Leads and navigates approval from multiple stakeholders.
  • Develops and sustains expert knowledge of the client's business, industry, and competition.
  • Builds and maintains strong client relationships, both with day-to-day clients and more senior level contacts.
  • Manages the finances including monthly billing, forecasting, JCR reconciliations, and expenses.
  • Collaborates with leadership to grow the business by taking an active role in developing and executing Client Engagement Plans.
  • Proactively develops thought leadership on areas of interest and new opportunities.
  • Responsible for the growth and development of their direct reports including goal setting and performance evaluations.
  • Writes client case studies outlining key objectives, strategy, and ideas to deliver outstanding results.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/CAPABILITIES

  • 5+ years of experience, in a large agency or large client marketing role focusing on project management, team leadership, strategy, and innovation.
  • Ability to lead large multi-channel projects flawlessly whilst engaging with multiple layers of stakeholder approval.
  • First class collaborator where campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and exceed client expectations.
  • Adept at leading integrated agency relationships working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding or desire to learn more about the application of the marketing sciences to modern marketing.
  • Proactive approach to the growth of the client and the agency team.
  • Incredible attention to detail.
  • Strong persuasive communicator and compelling presenter.
  • Impeccable team player with first class organizational skills.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Enthusiastic person who brings a positive energy to everything they do.
